In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Herscher Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Manteno Panthers.

The Tigers (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Illinois Central Eight outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Peotone was edged by Coal City (Coal City, IL), 5-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Panthers play the Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight outing, on Thursday, October 3. Manteno will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 10-1 record after their 11-2 non-league win over St. Edward (Elgin, IL).
