The Beatrice Orangemen softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Bennington Badgers to 5 in the Orangemen non-league win on Tuesday.
The Orangemen now sport a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plattsmouth for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. Beatrice will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 14-12 non-league win over Malcolm (Malcolm, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-14.
With the loss, Bennington moves to 14-10 on the season. The Badgers host Blair (Blair, NE) to battle the Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, October 3. The Bears come into the match with a record of 24-7. Blair lost 4-0 in their recent non-league match against Gretna (Gretna, NE)
