The Bellevue East Chieftains softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Omaha North Vikings to 0 in the Chieftains league win on Tuesday.

The Chieftains now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Northeast for a A District battle on Thursday, October 3. Bellevue East will encounter a Rockets team coming off a 13-0 league win over Bryan (Omaha, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 9-15.

With the loss, Omaha North moves to 2-19 on the season. The Vikings travel to Ralston (Ralston, NE) to encounter the Rams in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 2. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 17-9. Ralston won 6-4 in their recent non-league battle against Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE)
