The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lutheran South Lancers (St. Louis, MO) and the visiting St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO), observed Lutheran South's softball team prevail over St. Pius X by a tally of 14-4.

The Lancers (9-10) will now prepare for their bout against Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO). The Statesmen go into the non-league bout with a 9-15 record. In their last bout, Webster Groves was routed by Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO), 1-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Fredericktown Black Cats (Fredericktown, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 2. St. Pius X will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Black Cats go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 8-1 non-league win over North County (Bonne Terre, MO).
