Nebraska High School Softball - Plattsmouth edges Malcolm

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Plattsmouth Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 14-12 win over the Malcolm Clippers.

The Blue Devils (11-14) will now prepare for their match against Beatrice (Beatrice, NE). The Orangemen come into the non-league match with a 22-4 record. In their last match, Beatrice nipped Bennington (Bennington, NE), 6-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Clippers battle the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a C District match, on Saturday, October 5. Malcolm will attempt to better on its 6-17 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 23-6 record after their 18-10 league win over Ord (Ord, NE).
