The Yutan-Mead Patriots (Yutan, NE) softball nipped the visiting Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE), 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a C District outing on Thursday, October 3. Yutan-Mead will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 16-7 non-league loss to Wahoo (Wahoo, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 12-15.
