The Starmont Stars topped the visiting Alburnett Pirates volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Stars face the Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 3. Starmont will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA).

The Pirates (3-12) will now prepare for their game against North Linn (Troy Mills, IA). The Lynx go into the game with a 11-14 record. In their last game, North Linn went down by Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA), 3-1, in a league game.
