Ohio High School Volleyball - Lexington over Ashland

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) and the host Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH), observed Lexington's volleyball team top Ashland by a count of 3-0.

The Minutemen (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH). The Quakers enter the Ohio Cardinal contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, New Philadelphia was knocked off by Wooster (Wooster, OH), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Arrows battle the Lucas Cubs (Lucas, OH) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 2. Ashland will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Cubs enter the contest with a 8-9 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Shelby (Shelby, OH).
