Colorado High School Volleyball - La Junta over Atlas Preparatory School

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) and the visiting Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons (Colorado Springs, CO), observed La Junta's volleyball team top Atlas Preparatory School by a tally of 3-0.

The Tigers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO). The Meloneers enter the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Rocky Ford was beaten by Swink (Swink, CO), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Gryphons meet the Woodland Park Panthers (Woodland Park, CO) in a 3A/2A Tri-Peaks contest, on Thursday, October 3. Atlas Preparatory School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 8-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Florence (Florence, CO).
