In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Barnesville Trojans.

The Wolverines (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Henning (Henning, MN). The Hornets come into the Park Region challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Henning was nudged by Underwood (Underwood, MN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans play the Breckenridge Cowboys (Breckenridge, MN) in a Heart O'Lakes challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Barnesville will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley (Graceville, MN).
