The Sonora Broncos (Sonora, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Buena Vista Longhorns (Imperial, TX), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Broncos now possess a 26-6 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson City for a 2A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, October 4. Sonora will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Junction (Junction, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 25-7.

With the loss, Buena Vista drops to 13-15 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Grandfalls-Royalty (Grandfalls, TX) to clash with the Cowboys in a 1A Region I District 3 bout on Saturday, October 5. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Grandfalls-Royalty lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Rankin (Rankin, TX)
