In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Cody Comets.

The Mustangs (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Communication Media Arts (Detroit, MI). The Pharaohs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Communication Media Arts was beaten by Renaissance (Detroit, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the Osborn Knights (Detroit, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Cody will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Southeastern (Detroit, MI).
