The Hickory Hawks topped the visiting Nansemond River Warriors volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next up, the Hawks confront the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern game, on Thursday, October 3. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Hornets go into the game with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA).
The Warriors (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers go into the Southeastern game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, Oscar Smith gained a win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
