Maryland High School Volleyball - Long Reach over Marriotts Ridge

October 1, 2024: Marriottsville, MD 21104

The Long Reach Lightning volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Marriotts Ridge to 0 in the Lightning league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lightning now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oakland Mills for a Howard County outing on Friday, October 4. Long Reach will play a Scorpions team coming off a 3-2 league win over Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Scorpions record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Marriotts Ridge drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The travel to Atholton (Columbia, MD) to play the Raiders in a Howard County outing on Monday, October 7. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 7-4. Atholton won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Guilford Park (Jessup, MD)
