The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers edged the host Lutheran Crusaders volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Hilltoppers face the St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 7. Mt. Pulaski will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 3-16 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL).
The Crusaders (13-10) will now prepare for their game against East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL). The Flyers go into the non-league game with a 3-11 record. In their last game, East St. Louis was edged by Collinsville (Collinsville, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
