Georgia High School Volleyball - Ringgold over Murray County

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA) and the visiting Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), observed Ringgold's volleyball team top Murray County by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (21-14) will now prepare for their contest against Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 11-19 record. In their last contest, Soddy Daisy was knocked off by Heritage (Ringgold, GA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians battle the Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) in a 2A Area 7 contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Murray County will attempt to move on its 4-21 season record. The Phoenix enter the contest with a 20-17 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA).
