In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Ottumwa Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Waterloo East Trojans.
The Bulldogs (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Des Moines, IA). The Railsplitters enter the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln beat Mason City (Mason City, IA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Mason City Mohawks (Mason City, IA) in a Southeast challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Waterloo East will attempt to upgrade on its 2-21 season record. The Mohawks enter the challenge with a 1-24 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lincoln (Des Moines, IA).
