With the win, Watervliet improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cannoneers host Rensselaer (Rensselaer, NY) to encounter the Rams in a Section 2 Patroon battle on Wednesday, October 2. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 1-1.

The Titans now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maple Hill for a Section 2 Patroon battle on Thursday, October 3. Taconic Hills will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Germantown (Germantown, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.
