Ohio High School Volleyball - Waverly over Western

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Waverly Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Western Indians.

The Tigers (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH). The Pirates come into the Southern Ohio III challenge with a 16-2 record. In their last challenge, Wheelersburg beat North Adams (Seaman, OH), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH) in a Southern Ohio II challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Western will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH).
