Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team tip the host Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX), 16-12 in a league battle.
With the win, Georgetown improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Eagles host Rouse (Leander, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 2-0.
The Bobcats now have a 0-1 record.
