In their next game, the Patriots face the El Camino Real Royals (Woodland Hills, CA) in a West Valley challenge, on Monday, October 6. Birmingham will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Royals go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 19-13 league win over Cleveland (Reseda, CA).

The Knights (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy was edged by Panorama (Panorama City, CA), 26-6, in a league challenge.
