The Fenwick Friars flag football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Mother McAuley Mighty Macs to 12 in the Friars league triumph on Wednesday.

The Friars now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Addison Trail for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Fenwick will clash with a Blazers squad coming off a 36-6 non-league loss to West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blazers record now stands at 6-9.

With the defeat, Mother McAuley drops to 6-10 on the campaign. The Mighty macs host Joliet Central (Joliet, IL) to clash with the Steelmen in a non-league game on Friday, October 3. The Steelmen enter the game with a record of 1-15. Joliet Central lost 28-20 in their recent league game against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL)
