In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Mercy Bears (Burlingame, CA) flag football squad bounced the host Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA), by a tally of 34-0.
The Bears (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Castilleja (Palo Alto, CA). The Gators enter the contest with a 5-2 record.
Coming up next, the Black Bears battle the Immaculate Conception Spartans (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 3. Summit Shasta will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
