The Killingly Trailbazers (Killingly, CT) soccer nipped the visiting Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Trailbazers now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Lyman Memorial for a Eastern Connecticut III challenge on Saturday, October 4. Killingly will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Griswold moves to 2-3 on the year. The Wolverines travel to St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT) to encounter the Saints in a Eastern Connecticut II challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Saints go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
