Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), 8-0 in a league outing.

The Pirates (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Indians go into the Colonial outing with a 3-5 record.

In their next game, the Olympians clash with the Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) in a Colonial test, on Thursday, October 2. Jim Thorpe will attempt to advance on its 0-13 season record.
