In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Courtland Cougars football squad scored a good 22-8 triumph over the Chancellor Chargers.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Spotsylvania defeated King George (King George, VA), 13-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Chargers confront the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 8. Chancellor will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 40-0 non-league win over Fauquier (Warrenton, VA).
