The Lancers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host L.C. Bird for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. Manchester will face a Skyhawks team coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Skyhawks record now stands at 4-2.

The Trojans (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Clover Hill lost by Cosby (Midlothian, VA), 21-0, in a non-league challenge.
