In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Chaparral Wolverines softball team scored a tight 8-4 win over the Regis Jesuit Raiders.
The Wolverines (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Castle View (Castle Rock, CO). The Sabercats enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Castle View was routed by Ponderosa (Parker, CO), 14-10, in a non-league challenge.
