Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Lakeview Bulldogs (Cortland, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Lakeview's volleyball squad notch a victory over Boardman by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Lakeview improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hubbard (Hubbard, OH) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 2-0.

The Spartans now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 2.
