The Montclair Mounties soccer squad scored 1 points and held the host East Side Red Raiders to 0 in the Mounties league victory on Wednesday.
The Mounties now hold a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pascack Valley for a non-league game on Friday, October 3. Montclair will face a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
The Red Raiders (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Harrison (Harrison, NJ). The Blue Tide enter the non-league game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Harrison held off Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ), 6-2, in a non-league game.
