Eastern Warriors (Sardinia, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the victory, Eastern improves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Warriors host McClain (Greenfield, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-10. McClain lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH)
The Pioneers (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH). The Pirates come into the non-league game with a 12-0 record. In their last game, Wheelersburg edged Valley (Lucasville, OH), 2-0, in a non-league game.
