The Lewis County Minutemen soccer team (Weston, WV), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Wednesday's non-league match with the host Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV)
With the triumph, Wheeling Central Catholic moves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Maroon Knights host The Linsly School (Wheeling, WV) to meet the Cadets in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 8. The Cadets enter the battle with a record of 6-6.
Next up, the Minutemen battle the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) in a Big Ten battle, on Tuesday, October 7. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
