The The Covenant School Eagles soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now possess a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Virginia Episcopal School for a Blue Ridge Athletic game on Tuesday, October 7.
The Mavericks (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Flames come into the Blue Ridge Athletic game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Eastern Mennonite by Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA), 4-2, in a league game.
