Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) fans went home happy Wednesday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the host Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA), 6-0 in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain View (Kingsley, PA). The Eagles enter the Lackawanna - Division II outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, Mountain View tipped Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Warriors confront the MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 3 outing, on Thursday, October 2. Wyoming Area will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The enter the outing with a 1-11 record after their 8-0 league loss to Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA).
