The Berryhill Chiefs softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Idabel Warriors to 6 in the Chiefs non-league win on Wednesday.
The Chiefs now sport a 8-22 record. They take the field next when they host Hilldale for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. Berryhill will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Berryhill (Tulsa, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 14-11.
The Warriors (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against McAlester (McAlester, OK). The Buffaloes go into the non-league challenge with a 6-20 record. In their last challenge, McAlester held off Del City (Del City, OK), 15-4, in a non-league test.
