Georgia High School Softball - Sandy Creek knocked off by New Manchester

In Wednesday's non-league test, the New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), by a count of 19-6.

Next, the Jaguar meet the Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 2. New Manchester will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 2-12 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Rome (Rome, GA).

With the loss, Sandy Creek moves to 5-18 on the season. The Patriots travel to Troup County (LaGrange, GA) to encounter the Tigers in a 3A Region 2 outing on Thursday, October 2. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 11-14. Troup County won 8-0 in their recent league test against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA)
