Cross Stingrays (Bluffton, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Charleston Collegiate Sundevils (John's Island, SC), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cross improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Stingrays host Coastal HomeSchool (Pembroke, GA) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 8-19. Coastal HomeSchool won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Bible Baptist Christian (Statesboro, GA)
The Sundevils now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Porter-Gaud for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. Charleston Collegiate will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 league win over Ashley Hall (Charleston, SC). The Cyclones record now stands at 16-12.
