In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cissna Park Timberwolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans.
The Timberwolves (19-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Cornjerkers come into the Vermilion Valley challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Hoopeston went down by Schlarman (Danville, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
The Spartans (7-13) will now prepare for their game against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Hawks go into the Illini Prairie game with a 13-9 record. In their last game, Prairie Central gained a win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL), 2-1, in a league game.
