Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Greater Nanticoke Area overwhelmed by Crestwood

October 1, 2025: Mountain Top, PA 18707

Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Comets now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley View for a non-league game on Saturday, October 4. Crestwood will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Greater Nanticoke Area drops to 7-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA) to play the Cougars in a Wyoming Valley outing on Monday, October 6. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 2-4. Hazleton Area lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Berwick (Berwick, PA)
