With the win, Howard Tech improves its record to 1-10 on the season. The Hustlin' Tigers host Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN) to encounter the Trojans in a AAA District 6 battle on Thursday, October 2. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 11-12. Soddy Daisy won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN)

The Pioneers now own a 0-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brainerd for a AA District 5 contest on Thursday, October 2.
