In Wednesday's non-league match, the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) volleyball squad overcame the host Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers (Sun Valley, CA), by a count of 3-0.
Next up, the Lancers battle the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) in a East Valley match, on Monday, October 6. Grant will attempt to move on its 19-4 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 8-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Poly (Sun Valley, CA).
The Pioneers (16-10) will now prepare for their match against Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA). The Mustang enter the Central Valley contest with a 6-4 record.
