Maryland High School Volleyball - Hammond bounced by Long Reach

Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Long Reach improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Lightning host Howard (Ellicott City, MD) to encounter the Lions in a Howard County test on Monday, October 6. The Lions go into the test with a record of 12-0. Howard won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Hammond (Columbia, MD)

Next, the Golden Bears meet the Marriotts Ridge Mustangs (Marriottsville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 6. Hammond will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Guilford Park (Jessup, MD).
