Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Marietta improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 5-12. Wheeling Park lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV)

The Big Reds now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cabell Midland for a Mountain State test on Wednesday, October 1. Parkersburg will face a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV). The Knights record now stands at 17-3.
