In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Walpole Timberwolves volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Norwood Mustangs.

The Timberwolves (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Milton (Milton, MA). The Wildcats come into the Bay State - Herget outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Milton defeated Framingham (Framingham, MA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Norwood drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bellingham (Bellingham, MA) to confront the Blackhawks in a Tri-Valley game on Friday, October 3. The Blackhawks enter the game with a record of 9-1. Bellingham won 3-1 in their recent league game against Ashland (Ashland, MA)
