The Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) volleyball held off the host Paris Tigers (Paris, IL), 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Storm now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Westville for a Vermilion Valley bout on Thursday, October 2. Salt Fork will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 18-4.
The Tigers (15-7) will now prepare for their match against Marshall (Marshall, IL). The Lions enter the Little Illini match with a 16-6 record. In their last match, Marshall held off Richland County (Olney, IL), 2-0, in a league match.
