Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Silas Rams (Tacoma, WA) and the visiting River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA), observed Silas's volleyball team top River Ridge by a count of 3-0.
The Rams (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lakes (Lakewood, WA). The Lancers enter the 3A Pierce County battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Lakes achieved victory over Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Hawks now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellarmine Prep for a 3A Pierce County battle on Tuesday, October 7. River Ridge will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lakes (Lakewood, WA). The Lions record now stands at 2-6.
