Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) and the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA), observed Riverside Academy's volleyball team top St. Thomas Aquinas by a count of 3-0.

The Rebels (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Christ Episcopal School notched a victory over St. Amant (St. Amant, LA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Falcons battle the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a Division IV District 7 contest, on Thursday, October 2. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA).
