With the win, Kearny upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Komets host Lincoln (San Diego, CA) to play the Hornets in a bout on Friday, October 21. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-6.

The Thunder now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon Prep for a bout on Tuesday, October 11.
