North Carolina High School Soccer - Greene Central knocks off SouthWest Edgecombe

October 10, 2022: Pinetops, NC 27864

The SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars soccer team (Pinetops, NC), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC)

With the win, Greene Central advances its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC) to play the Chargers in a Eastern Plains 2A outing on Tuesday, October 11. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 5-10. Ayden - Grifton lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC)

In their next game, the Cougars play the North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC) in a Eastern Plains 2A outing, on Wednesday, October 12. SouthWest Edgecombe will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 9-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over East Carteret (Beaufort, NC).
