In Monday's non-league contest, the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) softball team held off the visiting Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Hillgrove moves its record to 9-13 on the year. The Hawks travel to Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 12.
